Gas Condensing Boilers

Condensing boilers were developed in the Netherlands in the early 1970s. ATAG Vervarming was one of the leading companies, making Holland the home of this exciting technology.

The ATAG boiler range has both domestic and commercial applications. From the smallest apartment to the largest commercial facility ATAG has an ideal solution for your heating and hot water needs. Within the domestic product range ATAG produce both system and combination boilers.

For apartments and domestic dwellings with an average hot water demand a combination boiler is often the best suited. In installations where there is a large requirement for high volume hot water production a system boiler with stand alone hot water cylinder may be a better application.

Energy efficiency

Energy Efficiency and super design and technology are the key reasons why you should choose a condensing gas boiler from Eco-Logic Solutions.

The excellent performance and reliability of our ATAG condensing gas boilers are the result of advanced design technology, 100% corrosion free stainless steel heat exchangers and intelligent control systems.

All ATAG boilers are compatitable with our renewable energy technologies which make them the perfect combination for heating any home.

Full details of the products including technical data can be found in the brochures and manuals downloads. In the meantime, here are the key benefits:

  • Energy Savings of up to 35% are possible with ATAG gas condensing gas boilers
  • Very Compact and easy to install.
  • Flexible Flue gas arrangements.
  • All models deliver hot water instantly
  • Large burner modulation range ensures boiler output continually matches heating demand.
  • SEDBUK band A rated.

What is weather compensation and why is it so Important.

Weather compensation controls enables a condensing boiler to work at its optimum efficiency. The controls allow the boiler to vary its operating flow temperature automatically, day by day to suit the weather outside and the temperatures inside the house. Weather compensation with a sensor outside positioned on a north facing wall and another in the boiler communicating with each other, all the time and varying the boilers water flow temperature accordingly, rather than the boiler turning on and off which wastes huge amounts of energy.

The aim is to keep the temperature as low as possible an so the boiler condenses for virtually all of its operating period. Fitting weather compensation can increase the efficiency gain of your boiler by 10% and this can all be achieved for as little as €100 extra. ATAG boilers come with the connections and control the boiler to make weather compensation a “plug and play” option.
